New Games

New Games collects the most recent additions, across every collection. If you have worked through the obvious titles and want something you have not seen, start here.

Everything gets the same treatment as the rest of the catalogue: its own page, its own written guide, and a description that explains how the game actually plays rather than repeating the provider's blurb. A game appears here when it is published, not when it is fashionable.

The mix is deliberately uneven. Some weeks bring several puzzle games, some bring a run of arcade titles, because what arrives depends on what the distributors release rather than on a plan of ours.

What Makes a New Game Worth Keeping

Not everything that appears here survives. Browser games get withdrawn, replaced, or quietly broken by a provider update, and a page whose game no longer loads is worse than no page at all. We check and remove rather than leave them sitting.

The ones that last tend to share three traits, and they are worth knowing if you are deciding whether to give something two minutes.

A good browser game is understandable from the first screen. If you need instructions to know what you are looking at, it was built for a different context and ported without much thought.

It fails quickly and restarts quickly. The loop that works in a tab is one where a bad attempt costs seconds rather than minutes. Anything with a long unskippable opening is fighting the format.

And it does one thing. The browser games that hold up are rarely the most feature-rich; they are the ones that picked a single idea and executed it cleanly. A game with three systems competing for attention usually has none of them working well.

If you find something here that deserves more attention than it is getting, tell us. A recommendation from someone who actually played it beats any metric.
